Bassel M. Abdallah, Founder and Managing Partner

Bassel M. Abdallah holds a PhD in Law. He is a strong believer that every immigrant to the United States deserves the opportunity to start a new life. His first-hand experience with the U.S. immigration process and extensive legal background make him uniquely qualified to help those in need realize their American dream.

Mr. Abdallah’s experience in the legal world began in his childhood. For many years, he watched his father and older brother practice law in Beirut, Lebanon. It was here that Mr. Abdallah decided to pursue a career in law. Mr. Abdallah graduated first in his class from Lebanese University- Filière Francophone de Droit, with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted into practice in Lebanon. He furthered his legal education at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University in Paris, France, earning an LLM in Business Law. Intent on furthering his legal education, Mr. Abdallah immigrated to the United States, which piqued his interest in immigration law. He attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, graduating with honors with a Master of Laws in U.S. and Global Legal Studies.


Credentials:

Mr. Abdallah is licensed by the Ohio Supreme Court and can practice immigration law in all 50 states. He is fluent in Arabic, English and French and conversational in Spanish.

Nagina Zar Alam, Senior Paralegal

Nagina Zar Alam is a dedicated paralegal at Abdallah Immigration Law, bringing a strong background in legal expertise, public health, and clinical research. Fluent in Farsi, Turkish, and English, with an understanding of Pashto and Urdu, she effectively communicates with diverse communities.

Nagina graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and a minor in Psychology. Beyond her legal work, she has contributed to clinical research focusing on breast cancer and obesogenic behaviors in adolescents. Nagina is currently on the path to law school, where she plans to combine her interests in public health, policy, and advocacy to serve immigrant and underserved communities.

Nadiya Kipran, Paralegal

Nadiya Kipran is a paralegal with over a decade of experience in legal support and client relations. She focuses her work on immigration law, assisting attorneys with case preparation, filings, and multilingual communication. Her background is multidisciplinary, combining seven years of experience in civil litigation with a foundational career in banking and regulatory compliance.

A 2013 graduate of Cuyahoga Community College with a degree in Paralegal Studies, Nadiya is also a commissioned Notary Public. She provides essential cultural and linguistic insight to the firm’s clientele, offering fluency in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.

Nadiya is also a dedicated community leader, serving with the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America (UNWLA). In this role, she oversees humanitarian aid and social welfare programs benefiting scholarship recipients and children affected by the war in Ukraine.
